Chairman’s report

Just like everyone we are deeply saddened by the devastating crisis in Ukraine and we pray for the swift end of the hostilities and suffering. Our organisation has been working with disadvantaged children and families in both Russia and Georgia for over 30 years and we know that they are most affected in any crisis. We don’t have ongoing projects in Ukraine so we have raised monies for Save the Children’s Ukraine appeal.

At the same time our long-term commitments lie with our projects in Russia and Georgia and we are conscious that the very vulnerable disabled and autistic children, orphanage-leavers and children from disadvantaged families will be hard hit by the current crisis. No doubt their pressing needs will be even greater in the future. Currently, we’re looking at legal avenues for funding our projects and we are in talks with the Charity Commission.  

In 2021 we continued to work in the difficult second year of the Pandemic providing funding and encouraging the professional growth of our partner charities. READ MORE
